IONIA. Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 350-325 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 1.74 g, 12 h), Rhodian standard. Nisaios, magistrate. Helmeted warrior, in military attire and holding lance in his right hand, on horseback to right. Rev. MAΓN / NIΣAIOΣ Bull butting to left, head facing; to right, grain ear. BMC 9. SNG von Aulock 2035 (this coin). Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
